“ Stumbled upon this place on my travels in Telford. Tell you what pal, it's a lovely quaint posh little joint stuck in the village of little Wenlock! Had to opt for a table inside the bar as the outside tables were all taken with people lapping the ode sunshine up. Started off with a lovely bag of pork scratchings and pint of chez and bez cider on tap. Went with Trio Of Pork & Leek Sausages – With creamed mash potato, pan gravy & garden peas – 16.50 To be fair it was very decent and very tasty although I couldn't stop thinking that the ode sausage looked like a creation my dog had made on walkies earlier in the day Never got chance to check on the ode toilet facilities although I over heard someone say they were all the way through the other end of restaurant so can't comment on that one pal! All in all top marks from me, think this ones popular with the ode walkers in the area......keep up the good work huntsman ”
“ My first visit to this beautiful place. I was not disappointed .... such a lovely atmosphere with lovely staff. The menu had lots of lovely dishes that would tempt everyone. I went for the fish pie! It was amazing . Gorgeous fluffy mash on top of the most gorgeous fish in a creamy white sauce. I have had many fish pies over the years but this was the best ever. Portions were big but I still managed to have desssert. The lemon pie, it was to die for. I love citrus and this didn't let me down, it came with a vanilla custard. Gorgeous. I look forward to returning again soon , thank you for the most gorgeous meal Huntsman ”
